Annoucing Scheduled Downtime!

10Apr

Due to a rather large server update we’ll be having a scheduled downtime on MindMeister from Friday, April 11, 7pm GMT for about two hours. Please try and export any maps you might need during this time in advance and try and enjoy a mind mapping free Friday afternoon / night ;-). Thanks for your understanding!

Update: We are back with the new release. Enjoy! We will introduce the new features soon…

Well, I’m curious to see new features… or will it just be under the hood updates?

Could you also announce server maintenance via Twitter next time? I’m not following the blog that regularly. Would be nice.

This time, you caught me by surprise, in the middle of a single minded brainstorm.

This information would’ve been much more helpful if it was delivered via email, and with more notice.

I can agree with the short notice even thought I didnt need MM myself last night… but what GREAT new features! Wunderlinks, snappier server response, nicer formatting of nodes, Tasks and… (drumroll) Picture imports!!! Dear lord how I have missed that until now!

I hope all of you who were disgruntled by the downtime and the short notice somehow feels it was worth it, in the end!
